The city of Fall River was settled in 1670 and incorporated in 1803, it also belongs to Bristol County in Massachusetts. With a population of 88,857, Fall River is the tenth biggest city in the state according to the 2010 census. Fall River used to be the only city on the East Coast of the country to have exposed waterfall falling in part of its downtown area that flows into a harbor at the edge of downtown.
